What We Do

Empowering The Next Generation Of Peacebuilders

When we empower students with the tools to navigate conflict peacefully – they put those tools into action and the results are clear: more trust, less conflict, better test scores and reduced violence. But empowering young people is only one piece of the puzzle. Lasting change takes a village.

Explore how we transform schools and communities by centering youth voice, building conflict resolution capacity, supporting educators, and driving systems change through our whole-school approach.

Collaborative Partnerships

WJC builds multi-year, districtwide partnerships that embed restorative practices across entire school systems, empowering youth and elevating student voice to create lasting cultural change rooted in trust and collaboration. We also work countywide to expand access, train leaders, and strengthen networks that sustain conflict resolution education and amplify youth leadership for the long term.

Youth Peacebuilding Summit

Our annual event brings students, educators, and community members from across LA County together to learn, connect, and inspire one another in creating safer, more inclusive schools.

Conflict Resolution Education Training

Conflict Resolution Education is the foundation of our work and the engine of our movement. WJC’s CRE programs empower students to lead change in their schools, support educators to model care and accountability, and equip entire school communities with tools to build trust and resolve conflict.

A Home For Nonprofits

We support nonprofits that serve Pasadena and surrounding communities by providing them with office space on our Campus.

School Tools

WJC’s online resource hub offers educators conflict resolution lesson plans, videos and proven strategies to build skills, strengthen school climate and support program implementation.
